    Wood you believe it......

Tiger has only gone and won his 15th Major after being stuck on 14 for 11 years.

Cannot believe it after all his personal problems and worse still his back injuries.

Best comeback since our 3:4 win at west sham, after losing 3:0.

What comeback do think has been the best in sport?

A mate of mine did a double on Tiger Roll to win the Grand National and Tiger Woods to win the golf. He made just over £3,000.

Coming back to draw 5-5 with United. Not really, but it was a great afternoon!

I was sorry to see him win it, comes across as not a particularly nice bloke; treated his wife abominably.

As for comebacks, Niki Lauda’s takes some beating. Horribly burnt in a Nurburgring crash in 1976, he returned to racing in the same season and, if I remember correctly, won the World drivers Championship the following season. Doing that takes rather more guts and determination than playing a round of golf.

    I agree Kets.

My son in law loves Woods and sent me a “what a bloke” text last night.

I replied.........”Mmm,not sure on that......great athlete but as for the rest!”

1/ serial sh a gg er whilst wife was dealing with tiny kids.

2/ Horribly arrogant and rude for his first 40 years.

    3/ Driving drugged up and p I s s e d.

4/ Brought spitting on the course to the fore as mentioned by Peter Allis......truly disgusting,Koeppke was doing it all day yesterday.

A magnificent result considering his injuries and a testament to his genius and refusal to give in and I do admire him for that.

For me,although not a boxing fan Muhammad Ali remains the greatest sportsman in my eyes and his late career title wins rank above Woods.

Nikki Lauda back in his car racing 7 weeks after being burned to a crisp,I agree Kets.

Pat Cash winning Wimbledon a few weeks after having his appendix out.

There are numerous worthy winners and some are nicer people than Woods.
