    Where will Perez go?

I suspect he will leave us if not this coming summer then in January '20.

Where can he go that will be a step up from us?

I think he's a good player, and in Spain I think he could to places like Sevilla, Valencia, etc.
But I don't know if they would be a step up necessarily as I wonder if he would play week-in week-out.

In England, I can't really picture him at a club that wouldn't be a step down or sideways from us.

    What d'ya think?

    Watford. . . Leicester. . . Cherries. . . West Ham

All clubs i could see him going to and all clubs that have ambition.

It's true that they have more ambition. At the moment, I suppose those clubs would be a step up. If we (fat fuck) had an inch of ambition, they wouldn't be though.

He is far too inconsistent for a top team.
He should take Joselu with him to his next club to make himself look world class compared to Joselu.

I think he will stay here as long as Rafa is the manager, which might not be much longer.

I agree with canny lad... if Rafa stays.. Perez (and anybody else that is half decent) stays.

When Rafa leaves.... we are phucked...

I think Almiron has shown that with better players, he's a better player. I reckon the Spanish league would suit him- less physical, more technical.

I don't think Perez staying will have anything to do with Rafa. Rafa didn't make him the player he is. I think him leaving will be more in line with him maybe wanting to go to a club that's closer to his heart (boyhood club, maybe)...or maybe he just can't get the fans booing out of his system after all the time he's spent here.

If the fans booed its because they care and know he can do better. He did in the end, he reacted.

If booing gave him the kick in the rse he needed, he should be thanking them along with Rafa for bringing his game along and sticking by him through pisss poor form.

    Exactly this.
