Of those left under contract,numbers 1,23,11 and probably 9 can go take a running jump for all i care and id expect 15 to get a better offer elsewhere

Aren't O'Brian and Doyle contracted for next season? thought they were. If we have the ones listed above under contract plus Doyle and O'Brien, the obvious weakness is still defence. I still think Dennis could do a job for us, but he needs the right service, and a target man alongside him. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea, but with a smaller squad I'd keep Hewitt as a utility player.

So we need: 2 centre backs, Milsom or another left back, a target man up front, a goal keeper - Schofield didn't do a lot wrong in my estimation, perhaps a season long loan.

I think Rob Milsom should be offered a new contract based on his performances at left back and also because he waived an automatic extension. So it would be the right and honourable thing to do.

Does the club have to issue it's retained/released list this week, as most EF League Clubs have to or is the National League different?

Ok... so nobody knew. I’ve looked at the EFL website and it’s May 19th... 10 days from now.

Hardy stated last Saturday that the completed “takeover” would be be 7-10 days, which is next Tuesday. Which gives the new owners 5 days to issues its retained/release list. I just wonder who is going to make the decision? Ardley, Hardy, new owners?

Next week is D Day and everything will be revealed one way or the other.
