Firstly, let's get it out of our heads that the game is in the bag cos it isn't. We seen the fragility of our back line at times last night and the next goal to borrow a cliche is all so important. Rovers have quality up front who dont normally miss given the opportunities like that . If Raith get it there will be panic stations galore amongst our team . Queens need to set off on the front foot like we did against Montrose and get that crucial goal that would mean a 4-1 lead. Same team again , let's go straight for the throat and hunt them down.

At 3-0 we looked to be cruising and 4-0 would have finished it, - but that goal has brought a meaningfulness to the tie which will bring a lot of fans down from Kirkcaldy.
The game is by no means over, but Raith have to chase the tie which will leave holes for Queens to exploit.
I'd like to see us being patient and then have Dykes, Todd, Murray and perhaps Stirling rip the Raith defence open leaving Dobbie to pick off the scraps.
Let's get into Palmerston in numbers this Saturday and roar the lads over the finishing line as well. Been some good attendances recently so more of the same thanks.

A disaster can happen but we will be all guns blazing and don't have to worry about saving players for another game.
We'll definitely score at least one goal so that would leave Raith needing 3 goals just to get level. Doable but won't happen.
It's all about having the correct attitude for this game and ensuring that the players are fully focussed but we are talking about Queens so it would not be a great surprise if there are moments where we are uncomfortable with Raith having the upper hand. The crowd need to be patient as we have better players especially in attack and if we do score, which I fully expect, then the tie will surely be beyond the League 1 side.
Is Naysmith back in charge? Play today suggests so!
