    Sadiq Khan

Yet another individual abusing a position of authority. No matter what you personally think of Donald Trump, and I'm no fan, he should be afforded the respect that his position holds as President of the United States of America. What a childish action if, as he proposes, he will launch the balloon effigy of Trump again. Wouldn't he be better employed involving himself in the problems that our capital city is experiencing instead of such a childish and immature action. What has this country done to deserve these individuals? When are we going to return to a time when we can respect people in authority instead of politicians and the like who deserve nothing but our contempt.

Honestly, I just despair at this country sometimes. We seem to be becoming a nation of rent-a-mob where these people seem to think they speak for everyone and violent protest are the norm. Khan today said his views reflected a progressive London and Trump had no place here. This would be the same Khan who not only defended but publicly backed Louis Farrakhan - the chap Jack Straw banned from entering the UK as he'd called white people 'white devils' and is a black supremacist who admires Hitler for what he did to the Jews.

Trump however people might disagree with him is the democratically elected head of our closest ally who is here on a state visit to honour the countless young American's who died fighting for our freedom. What must we look like to the rest of the world when Khan advocates the flying of this balloon and mass protest when the Presidents visiting to honour the war dead? Add in Corbyn, Thornbury et al who won't be attending the banquet out of protest making us a complete joke of a nation.

Trump may well serve a second term, Khan by contrasts is a hapless fool totally out of his depth who has failed to deal with gang warfare, spiralling knife crime or the city being closed by a bunch of ageing hippies. I'm totally sick of these people claiming they speak for the majority when in reality they're just a bunch of leftist rent-a-mob who think protest by intimidation is speaking for the majority. Why were the protests nothing like this when Putin, Mugabe or Xi visited (whose banquet Corbyn attended btw)

You do realise Village Idiot #1, that €5.60 is less than £5.60, right...?

Interesting that you thought that slip of the tongue was 'ripping you off'...

Just stay in your little village mate.

For once I find myself on Trump’s side.

What a put down by Trump calling Khan a “stone cold loser” and saying he was as bad as the mayor of New York but “only half the height”......,LOL.

Trump and Piers Morgan are two people I wouldn’t tangle with on Twitter.

Sadiq Khan is a Pygmy politically and every other way I can think of,every time he opens his mouth I find myself wanting to kick the TV.

In truth I now turn it over if he comes on,such an irritating self righteous little t w a t.

Khan is a f ucking ****! I am not a fan of Trump but he's been effective in office in many things according to the majority over there.

One thing is for sure - had it been Trump we would have been out of the EU now and he would have told them all to go feck themselves!

This country deserves to go to the pan with all the liberals. Another 80 migrants have just arrived - why not treat them all to a pint and chicken and chips in the basket? Meanwhile, a pensioner who needs a stair lift and paid all her taxes all their life can go do one says the many councils!

EU - what a complete joke! No wonder Farage is getting all the support. It's as simple as 123 to understand why...........

Yes, I often blame the EU for my local council's failings.

It is completely the EU's fault that Sandwell council don't look after pensioners as they should.

And as for your first Trump statement, just take a look at the most recent U.S. approval ratings...
