Is it possible that the FCB could deliver the ultimate betrayal of the fans by sending us managerless into the start of the new season ? Its taken Derby a matter of days to line up a replacement for Lampard & as time goes on I cannot help but feel that this is another excuse opportunity for the lack of spending.

More like it is with the kids getting fruit in our school...if you're last to the basket you're left with all the bruised and shitty-looking bits no-one wanted...you pick one up, inspect it, frown, put it back and pick up another one, realise it's worse, try another...no good, pick up the first one...someone reaches over your shoulder and picks the one you hadn't spotted which is ok, you go for the least squished..then drop it as you're going out of the door, go back for another bit only to find that some fucker has knocked the contents of the basket all over the floor and go 'fuck it, I'll get something out of me packed lunch'
Or something like that...

I don't think we'll go in managerless. . . I think it'll be dragged out so we can't really buy anybody then we'll get somebody and some last minute loans . . .
