    FC Chikhura Sachkhere

I’m sure most Dandy’s are doing the “fazzatthen?” Regarding our next opponents. Link and info below. Their home stadium (Central Stadium in Sachkhere) holds 2000. Their Europa League matches (of which they’ve played 20 - W6 D8 L6) are played 130km away in Tbilisi. See picture.

It looks like they’ve no MAJOR scalps but i’ve No doubt they present a far tougher tie than the Finns. Bursaspor and Beitar Jerusalem both lost to them in the last 5 years. The Turks lost last year. They most recently held Maribor 0-0 before losing 2-0 in the second leg. We should progress (maybe I should say we CAN)......but then we SHOULD have score 74 goals against Santa FC. Interesting tie.

Pretty sure they'll be playing in the
big Dinamo Tibilisi Stadium (not the one in the foto) at least I'm fairly sure they did in their game against Fola Esch on Wednesday.

Our main concern will be the heat. If we can handle that we're into round three.

True, but we should still expect to somehow sneak past this team.

I don't think we need to worry about sneaking past them. I actually fancy us to go through with decent results. I reckon we might pump them at either home or away.

It's the heat in Tbilisi, along with all the travelling the players will have to do, that concerns me also about this tie. Stating the obvious, but an away goal will be very important. If we were to lose, then 1-2 gives us some leeway to recover at Pittodrie but 0-1 then we're walking the tightrope of them scoring.

I'd also be concerned if it's a Ferguson and Campbell central midfield in Georgia although the thought of someone without game time is worse. Is Ojo available for these games?

Ojo will be registered and will be available.
Whether he is match fit or not will be another question.

DM alluded to training at Pittodrie on the Tuesday, maybe even also Wednesday morning and travelling there in the afternoon without a training session (just a look around the stadium). He's done this before.

I agree though, we could definitely do with an away goal.
It'll be hard to see how they will play as they were very open against Fola Esch, but will they be the same against us?
DM reckoned they had lots of footage of Chikhura and had someone watch both their games against Fola Esch, so he had planned to read up on them on the flight home after last night (deliberately waited until they were through)

On another note, the draw for QR3 is on Monday, so we will see who the incentive is to get past QR2 is?

I can't see BOTH Ojo & Bryson being risked or played.
Ojo hasn't had a pre-season, or any games.
Same with Bryson due to injury.

I think DM would be happy to have one of them available.

As an aside, no doubt DMc will persist with Sam Cosgrove, despite him missing about 6-7 chances over the last two legs.
Makes me laugh when folk say he's scored 2 in 2.
first leg was an OG, the other was a penalty.
He's missed 6-7 very good chances over the two legs of the last tie - he should be scoring at least 3 of them.
