Why should clubs be fined it will not stop the idiots.Its time they got hold of the fans & fined & banned them.Plenty of cameras in the grounds today.

So you get s few Rotherham fans that’s had a few beers shouting their mouth off & Rotherham get docked 3 points,why as a millers fan should I & Rotherham be penalised.

agree also - how can you penalise the club and the decent fans as well - this will not stop it - with CCTV then target the small number of individuals and sort it that way - we/others wouldn't like it if it was RUFC. Fans of any club could turn up and create trouble for another club using this route

Because the club isn’t taking it serious enough so they will keep getting trouble, yes the decent fans will be hard done by but that’s life and it’ll probably urge them to not to turn a blind eye and report the trouble causes.

It should be easy enough for us with the cameras and the handful of idiots to be recognised.

How many of you have turned a blind eye instead of reporting it? So your not innocent either

£10k fine doesn't even cover the cost of the policing for this match never mind the investigation afterwards.

Also you could get rival fans turning up pretending to support a club, so they get points deducted.

Whilst there's no place for racist chanting, this is the least of Millwall,s problems.
Even the article reminds us again of serious public disorder involving their support.

I seem to recall that there wasn't a single arrest after the NYS problems even though there was significant photo and moving camera images. CCTV all around the nys. Police with bodycams.

If there's no consequence then these people will continue to do it and revel in their notoriety.
