Surely it's not a question of whether or not you like Bruce.

Personally I don't dislike Bruce. I'm just not convinced that he's and adequate manager for a club of our stature despite the presence of Ashley.

I couldn't believe it when Rafa was appointed and my feelings were that at last Ashley has come to his senses and seen the light.

Obviously with an appointment such as Rafa it would be obvious for an owner to follow up and back that manager to his full capacity but it quickly became apparent that the move was just to build up the supporters hopes up and then to, at enormous cost to the club dash those hopes in his usual childish, smug manner.

It is truly unbelievable what that man gets pleasure from. I think he can only be a sadist at heart.

There's a position going at Blunderland for a manager, maybe Brucie might fancy it.

Well put, Pat. I don't mind Bruce that much either, though he was very adamant about jumping ship from Sheff Wed, where he seemed to be liked and respected, to us where he knew - as a "fan" - that the owner situation is not ideal.

I hate that lifelong protester and terrorist backing Marxist Corbyn but an anti Ashley group had him standing with a Toon shirt and backing them to get votes. What an opportunist.

Seconded. Can't stand him. I fear the day he gets his hands on the levers of power.

In regards Bruce, i don't dislike him i just don't think he's the right person for the job and that he'll ultimately relegate us, obviously that is also down to the mis-ownership of hte last decade plus.

Bruce is one of a long line of hoop licker nobodies that Ashley has put in place to p|$$ the fans off . Ashley knows full well Bruce won't ask for money , talk to the press or spill the beans on Ashley's dubious methods in running the team.
He is a spineless non achiever, with no credibility after the stroke he pulled on Sheff Wed... Fortunately they were lucky to be rid of him.

I agree and I didn’t like him even before he managed the mackems - can’t remember why.
I don’t think he can believe his luck landing this position and salary after the management career he’s had. He’s tried all the tricks since starting to work for SDFC - playing the ‘Geordie’ and humble ‘I don’t understand tactics’ cards. Now he’ s pretending to be insulted by the negative comments.
The soap opera will go on till he is ousted too late leaving him and Ashley as winners (financially) and the club and supporters as losers.
