Deep Throat.
I think it may have been the third Terminator with the blonde bird. We haven't been since the kids grew up but we went quite ofen around that time, watching Titanic, ( much better on the big screen ) a couple of the Harry Potters and Flubber.
Saving Private Ryan.....late 90's...I think..
The Italian Job - Special Screening at Merry Hell about 5 years ago
Cracking film Dubs, I also saw the other version....Shaving Ryan’s Privates If I remember correctly.
Seriously, best film I’ve seen at the flicks was Twister on the main big screen at Merry Hill. With the massive screen and surround sound you almost felt like you were right inside the Tornado, unbelievable. Saw it several times on TV since and sadly nowhere near the same effect.
Have seen it a number of times on small screen but quite spectacular on the big screen.

Apparently Spielberg and co were in and out of the local pub and very much at ease in the area...very small town indeed and wonderful nature reserve adjacent to those fantastic beaches....
The local pub was renamed the Omaha beach.......
Last one I saw at the picks/cinema starred Daniel Craig, and Adele sang the lead song. I think it was about a bunch of builders because it was called 'Scaffold', or summat like that.![]()
Took my wife to see Downton Abbey a few weeks back. I'd never seen the TV programme. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. That said my expectations were very low.
