Ritchie: Our hard-working, spirited soldier or a Fizzy-level player at best?

Came into our side and had an immediate impact during our latest season down.

I though he had more technical skill about his game initially than it's turned out.

I think he shows a lot of passion and obviously gets what it means playing for the shirt, but I don't think he's good enough for the future to be fair.

I know it doesn't really matter what players we have under Ashley/Bruce as we're going nowhere, for the sake of the discussion; is he an important part of our plans or would you get rid?

Whether good enough or not good enough, he's likeable and hard-working and I'll have fond memories of him once he eventually leaves.

He's a good lad, not the best there is by a long way, but he gives it his best and is a trier.

But it will always come down to the same old thing. Until we have an owner who wants us to achieve and go places and until we have a manager capable of taking us there we are stuck where we are and it's frustrating for all of the real fans not to be able to have hopes and ambition for our club.

I like Ritchie and think he’s good enough for where we are now but not good enough for where we would like to be.
He’s the type of player that you might think is not good enough but miss when he’s not playing.

He chases back and provides good cover for the full back but other than that I can’t see what he brings to the team

He has no speed, can’t beat a man and his crosses are abysmal he nearly always hits the first man with crosses and corners. Can’t see him getting back into the present team

    Sorry Tez.
Been said before, scores the odd goal or two and the odd assist or two, too.

Which is more than be said for a few others. I think he's more of an inspirational character both on and off the pitch and 6-7of the others in the first 11, I like his attitude.

I wish we had a few more in our side with it.

I couldn’t fault his attitude or enthusiasm on the pitch he always tries his best unfortunately I don’t think his best is good enough
