    Wolves or Villa.

So who do you prefer to win?

    Wolves for me.

I want Villa around that bottom three all season.

Wolves are by far the better side anyway and for some reason I can’t help but like Nuno as a bloke.

Very good manager and coach of a club with decent owners.

    As Jim Bowen would’ve said.......,

“Hard luck Albion, don’t be too downhearted, you still go away with your Bully and a framed photo of Bonsai Lai”

“Let's have a look at what you could’ve won..........ahh there it is,the all singing all dancing Fosun!

I would much prefer the Wolves to win. The Vile have always been the real enemy as far as I am concerned. I was in the middle of the ‘ Battle of Perry Barr’, early 70’s if I remember correctly, we won at Vile Park with a late goal, again, if my memory is correct, from John Trewick. I was going home on the No 11 bus along Trinity Rd and the Vile fans were stoning all the vehicles on the road, buses particularly. Everyone was turned off the buses at Perry Barr where a massive street battle ensued! The bus that I was on was all Albion except one Viler upstairs; he was thrown down the stairs head first! Mayhem. I disliked the Vile before that but much more so afterwards. Earlier than that, in the sixties, we Albion fans got into the Holte End early before the match and were behind the Vilers ( well before segregation came in) and it was around Bonfire Night, we all had penny bangers and jumping jacks that we threw down into the Vilers! Great stuff! Happy days.

Wolves just about nick it for me based on a similar experience as ketts. I was at their ground to see us lose 1-0 in the 80s and it was just non stop out and out nastiness from the Villa fans during the entire game and after. They were actually tossing glass bottles into our away end. Coins rained on us constantly throughout, loads of us were hit by em. After the game, we ended running along the road as the police failed to protect us from a running mob. On the bus we were targeted at a roundabout by idiots with stones who smashed every single window on the bus, we were showered in glass. Ive not been back since.

I'm a ding for 2 hours on Sunday and this temporary (all 12 fingers crossed) mental impairment has seen me sellotape a carrot to my thump on each hand and randomly shout "we'm wolves" like anyone gives a f uck.

My visit into Birmingham City Centre yesterday was very traumatic as all those poppy collection buckets reminded me of the days that a pot could not be found to pi s in as they were all being used as collection tins.

The trauma continued as I went to Marks Spencer for a new pair of gloves and they said only their Wolverhampton branch sold 6 fingered gloves and I could steal a pair from there.

After all that I went to Saint Phillips Cathedral to thank God I didn't have a sister.

Fosun are different to our owner as they have businesses outside of China, and their cash flow isn't halted by their government. Saying that though Fosun took a big hit when Thomas Cook went under, as a result Wolves are borrowing £50m to tidy them over until the Prem money kicks in, and Fosun are thinking of selling up to 20% of their shares in Wolves.
I am very dubious of Chinese owners, i haven't seen a good one yet, they are investors, they look at a clubs assetts not about having them as a hobby like the Arabs.
As for Lai, he is a developer, and i believe Albion own all the land from the Hawthorns to the footbridge by the cricket ground. This is what i believe made him pay such a large sum for us.
You don't become a billionaire by making bad business decisions.

Some of my Wolves friends on FB were criticising Nuno for playing the kids in the cup tie against Villa.
I think he was spot on, they are in the Premier League, the Europa league and have the FA Cup coming up shortly. He has decided which priorities he is going with.
Alex Ferguson always did the same. It also gave the kids a taste of a big match/ derby atmosphere.
It has to be said, a bloody good manager is Nuno.

I've never looked upon Wolves as our local derby. Villa, then the Blues. Probably due to the fact that I lived in Handsworth when I was a lad.
The second most enjoyable thing in football is a Villa defeat.
Wolves are as irrelevant as Newcastle, Watford, Norwich or any other club.
I don't like West Ham and aren't too keen on Burnley or Palace. Claret and blue make me spew.
