    Curious

Who on here will go to cup game?

I'm going but might be a tad lonely.

Won’t be there but not because of anything other than at another game same day.

Used to like cup games when we tried to win them

Thinks lot will depend on the result against Ayr Utd next week.

It might be too late by then as the deadline for the cheaper tickets is Saturday 11th January.
I am certainly in two minds about going and that was before today’s shocking performance.
What is the point of me paying £10 (purchasing my ticket before the 11th January deadline) and sitting in a freezing cold Dens Park with a 7.20pm kickoff when I can sit at home and watch the game live on BBC Scotland.

Not me. Can't take the embarrassment of watching this team just now and won't be paying any more for the privilege - probably won't go next week either.

If you have a season ticket and decide not to attend next Saturday’s League game you will still be counted in the attendance figures as having attended the game. Crazy but all the clubs apparently do it.

That would only apply to league games as season tickets aren’t valid for cup matches

Islay was talking about the Ayr game not Motherwell.

It's not that crazy because season ticket holders have paid for that seat and it would not be available for the club to sell to others. Probably a requirement for accounting i.e. so many seats sold at X price, so many at Y price etc.

There could maybe be two counts published, seats sold and turnstile clicks. I'm sure the club will have this and it will tell them how many season ticket holders are simply not bothering to go.

I really hope the club are paying a lot of attention to the actual footfall at each game. There's been a fair bit of chat about ST holders not going because the football has been uninspiring, to say the least. There must be a danger that non attending ST holders become non ST holders the following season. Hopefully the commercial department are monitoring things like this closely and will be able to give the Board statistics that will help. It might be interesting to compare the attendances for the vising fans. Maybe our away support visitors are increasing, when compared with the last time we were in this division?
