No Turnbull, Dunne, Maguire or Semple tomorrow and if Robinson is believed Long and Hylton unlikely to make it either. Scott through the middle? Not very convincing but might be best of a bad lot of choices.

We need to sign an old fashioned centre forward before this transfer window shuts. I’m not convinced young Scott is the answer through the middle.

Lets forget Hylton & Seedorf as neither of SPL standard. Suggest loan out lower leagues and monitor their progress.
Only option is to play Scott thru middle and see how he performs as IMO like Turnbull, Campbell and Hastie, when came in 1st team January'19 blew the opposition away.

Our problem is that we don't have a striker worthy of the name at the club. We have some good 'forward players' in Long and Scott but neither can be described as goalscorers or penalty box strikers, something that we've not had since Louis Moult left two years ago now. Robinson hasn't properly addressed this in five transfer windows since now.
As for Hylton and Seedorf, they won't do for us and I've said that since the start of the season. Seedorf in particular is garbage. Not average, not mediocre, not "he's not great but he's the best we can hope for" but out and out GARBAGE and he should be released at the earliest opportunity.

Guy recommended to club just scored his 30th league goal of the season. As far as I’m aware nobody from the club has looked or even mentioned him

There is no way that we, or any similar rival, is unaware of that guy. I appreciate we don't have the scouting system of Barcelona but the notion SPL teams don't consider folk found by googling conference league top scorers is mental.
