    O'Shea

Can anyone explain why O'Shea was selected in front of Furlong yesterday. He had a shocker against Cardiff and was little better yesterday. Furlong is a much better option plus we now have Peltier and Ferguson. I don't get it.

I cannot understand why or how we have managed to get ourselves in a position where we have 4 right full backs. Crazy when you add up the costs of wages, agents fees and other add ons. I know O’Shea can play central defence but can’t see him getting a place there unless a lot of injuries/suspensions.
Ferguson looks the best of them but goodness knows what is going on in his head now he didn’t get his move. Even too many of them to all sit on the bench.

I think Peltier will get the nod away from home as he is an out and out defender who apparently does not venture beyond the half way line very often. It might make us a bit more defensively stronger when we go to places like Millwall and Brentford.

Agree entirely Leics buddy. Furlong is surely the preferred choice. I thought O’Shea was disappointing yesterday I was expecting to see better from him. Surprisingly he was outpaced a couple of times.
As you say JoyD buddy, I’m also hoping Peltier will provide the organisation desperately missing at the back.

I was watching O'shea yesterday & thought if he plays regularly he will cost us points as you say outpaced a couple of times . & most teams if not all they will have wingers that can run fast if they haven't got much else ,

The lad is a centre half.

We are superb at f king up young players by playing them out of position.

Why are we playing him there then? We have three natural right backs in the squad. As I say, it doesn't make sense.
