Karen Brady is proposing that the season be declared null and void. I wonder why? Could it be that West Ham are in danger of relegation? According to her, it is the fairest way to do it. Fair to who? Fair to those who have had a crap season yes, but not to those that have been successful. I don't know the answer but her proposal would be the last one that I would recommend.

This is a terrible idea, the only thing worse would be for this season to be scrapped!

It’s going to be hard enough to finish fourth from bottom next year let alone sixth from bottom.

It also means Villa get saved.

Teams are where they deserve to be at this point in a season so these should be taken as the final tables and acted upon accordingly.

I think it’ll be written into the rules for the future that after a certain number of matches a league can be declared as the final result.

Villa getting saved would be a travesty but us not being promoted would be worse. Us and Leeds have been top two for most of the season.

    That’s just complete bollox!

Can’t see they could deny Liverpool (=big club) the title after the season they have had. And I don’t think anyone could handle Klopp’s
tantrums, if they did deny them the title. 😎

If not completed, they should go after how tables are now.

The only fair way if the season is over early, which I think it is, would be to honour the final places, after all that is how the season ended, then three up three down like it used to be. London couldn't moan as they would lose one nothing club but gain another.

I'd like to know the attitude of Sky to all this. After all, the premiership is their product, and clubs have signed contracts guaranteeing transmissions as required. Would they be happy for games to be played behind closed doors, as they have subscribers from all over the world to keep happy?
