See he has become the first Prem manager to take a voluntary pay cut along with his assistant manager.
As have chief executive and first team direct.
To help balance book for the club.
Good for him/them.
Wonder how many will follow suit.

I think Premier League clubs know whats coming. The season void and a massive repayment back to the TV companies. If not a repayment the next installment won't be forthcoming.
Good to see managers doing this but the cynic in me says they either do it and when this all blows over or eases they have a job or if they don't do it its the dole queue.
Seems strange this cost cutting has come all this week. Also might be the reason for takeover resurfacing here. Ashley won't fancy having to foot the bill for repayments to the amount TV companies will be after.
It'll be a cluster**** on repayments etc.
Lawyers will have a field day.
Aye, the lawyers won't miss out.
I think the plan is currently to make sure this season is finished and then work out what to do about next season. Either way, one season will be curtailed so it makes sense for it to be one we haven't started yet so that it can be set up in the fairest way possible.
And we'll have new owners by then.....![]()
But, aye...it's good of him and the players. Yes, ut's all relative and they're filthy rich compared to the rest of us but, still, they didn't have to do it.
TV companies will come out on top. Premier League clubs couldn't survive without their cash. Seeing the big-hitters regards TV companies are from the Middle East they will wipe the floor with and lawyer any Premier League club bar Man City could employ and seeing as it would be through the Premier League clubs will lose hands down if you ask me.
Its going to open a can of worms. TV companies will want money from Premier League, Premier League will want it off clubs, clubs will want it back off employees.
Its only the Premier League that will be in breach of contract if season is cancelled.
