    Realistic Transfer Targets

So boys and gals who do we think? 🤔 realistically speaking.

My 1st pick Rondon! Imagine him in a good team.

Edinson Cavani 33yo is a free agent come June 30th.

Mikel Merino - upset he left us but the lad is putting in great performances week in week out.

    Marcel Sabitzer - just quality.

    Hatem Ben Arfa???

What’s on everyone’s transfer wish list?

First thing first get a real top manager in
Then it's who in our squad would you build on?
For me Dubravka ,scharr and Lejeune keep
    Anyone else can go

In all honesty, when you look at our squad and think "which ones would get in Ceteh or Liverpool side"

errrm none, maybe the saint from the bench.

Lets be honest, if we really want to be challenging for top honours, playing in the CL etc, then none of our current squad should survive. No time for lost sentiment, we are either going to compete or keep the lads because they are currently the best we have

I think those 3 I said would hold their own in a top squad all our other players would not

I was trying to think of another one to add to that list but in all honesty, I can't. The closest I can come to is maybe Almiron under a better manager.

I think we can do much better than Almiron if we want to compete

I also think it will be a 3-4 season build until we see a really top class side

This is the best way. Keep the three Kev says to build on plus the Saint and the Longstaffs to start with. Bring in four or five top players, not necessarily huge money buys, but shrewd purchases like the Cabayes and Ben Arfas of the past, each window to build on and blend over three seasons and the same to depart obviously.

That way there is continuity and development as well as allowing for the best of the youngsters to prove themselves.

I totally agree Dubravka is a class act Scharr imho is our best player by a mile and Lejeune is quality too , would love to see a "young upcoming" Rondon come in don't know who or from where that would / will be ??
