Internet restored

We lost our internet connection and phone land line on Monday afternoon. Fortunately, it was restored early this morning, thanks to Open Reach and BT workers going through the night to get the work done. They needed a police guard, though, because the cables had been cut through by a digger being used by so-called travellers, pikeys, whilst illegally expanding their already illegally expanded site. The local council have been observing their activities for some time but have done absolutely nothing about it. Why the hell should these ‘people’ be allowed to flout any law that they care to ignore and get away with it? It wasn’t just our village cut off but the effect was widespread across Northamptonshire; nothing will be done about it, it makes the blood boil. Parasites, all of them.
