    What a ggreat father's day

Wife arranged for 2 of our kids and partners to visit, first time 6 of been together since lockdown. The youngest skyped from California.

One bought a huge seafood platter which I grazed on most of the day and the other chablis to wash it down with. Supper was some mussels cooked on the coals. Fabulous.

My Father's Day was heading to be one of the worst ever as one of our grandson's collapsed on Saturday and was rushed to hospital with suspected Covid or Meningitis. Obviously no-one could be with him so it was a very stressful night worrying and praying he would be alright. Thank The Lord the lumber puncture ruled out Meningitis and the swab test ruled out Covid. He had apparently had a nasty severe viral attack. He was allowed home yesterday afternoon. If that wasn't enough wonderful news then Leeds and The Vile went and lost. So it turned into a great Father's Day.

We have been using similar technology Tony. We have been having these Zoom get togethers and family quiz nights. The son-in-law has dragged me and the wife kicking and screaming into the 21st century.
