    I’ve just read

Blah blah bloody blah, hand the money over to where it was originally intended and move on, you have the A shares, just sit tight with them, I see some are still looking for a blazer, never change these people

I think that you are being very unfair with your post.
The Dee4life Trust (DFCSS) offered the club an interest free loan whilst FPS currently charge Dundee Football Club 1% interest on their loans to the club.

What do you find unfair, the fact they’re giving the club a shot of a bit of the money that was intended for them, or the fact their are still some chasing a blazer, putting there own interests above the club

The society are entitled to two seats on the board of Dundee Football Club thanks to the entrenched rights in the A shares which FPS agreed to prior to them acquiring a majority shareholding in Dundee Football Club Limited.

The blazers didn't make the decisions. The members did. Also was the money raised by DFCSS when they were the majority shareholder so the money was given to them to run the club, not given for them to give to FPS to run the club. I think they should raise enough money to run their organisation based on annual subscriptions. If they do that then they can fulfil their inherited duties and keep out of competition in fund raising, leaving that to the new 1893 Foundation and Dee Promotions.

Why didn’t they use to run the club then, when the yanks replaced them they had a surplus of money which they have dwindled away on shyte, and what’s left of it they’re holding tight, why don’t they hand over cash, sit on the A shares, disappear into the background and leave the foundation to raise the cash, at least we’ll know it will get to the club, and not pay for a jolly to a supporters federation meeting

Your major beef seems to be that someone claims back travelling expenses of around £20 of DFCSS member's money every two or three months for attending meetings on behalf of the society. It must be that because you've been told countless times that all the money raised during admin collections has been spent directly on the club many years ago. You've also been told countless times that any cash in the DFCSS coffers was raised by members of DFCSS via DFCSS initiatives on the understanding that the money is going to DFCSS and not directly to DFC to be applied as seen fit by the democratically elected DFCSS board.

You're not a member of DFCSS so none of the money currently held by DFCSS has been put there by you. It's difficult therefore to see why you're so determined to see it applied as you want it applied. If you feel so strongly that you're right join the society, stand for election to the board and put across your arguments.

I reckon your life will improve, and your blood pressure will decrease significantly, if you just let this one go.

We will now get down to the ‘nitty gritty’.
The club asked the society to hand over £12,000 towards the cost of bidding for the ‘Oor Bobby’ statue. Meanwhile FPS contributed nothing towards the total sum. Even MMJ paid for the cost of their statue out of his own pocket.
