    Thomas Kaminski

Rovers have had a bid accepted for the Gent keeper. 27 who played 14 times in the Europa League.
Ashley Westwood was never an option. 37 and was on a HUGE £30k A WEEK!!! Meaning he would have been the highest paid player at the club.

Kaminski and held talks, and agreed to sign. Rovers are now in talks with Gent about the keeper, who is likely to sign by Monday. Seems on the outset to be a pretty solid, decent deal and he sounds ok.

Once one of Dack or Armstrong is sold, they will buy a CH and that will be that.

Think Dack is a goner. My guess is Fulham, with whiteman his replacement.

To sell Dack now would be beyond crazy. We will get 10p for him as he is injured. Surley they wait, see if he comes back the same player and if he is, his fee will go up. Selling him now would be suicide. If they sell anyone, it should be Armstrong. Personally I think Rovers could live without him. But he commands the biggest fee as anyone with a recent form of 17 Champ goals. He is the most saleable asset.

I'd totally agree with that. If ten million came in for Armstrong (which seems bizarrely high to me), the issue about a centre-back might well be solved.
Obviously, we'd miss his spectacular goals, and I'd rather keep him, but Dack's return might well compensate.
The obvious test is, would we get as many goals from Dack, Gallagher, Brereton, Rothwell, Butterworth and Vale? It really is mainly about the goals, because Armstrong has had a lot of games where he has been anonymous. To be fair, he has definitely improved since Dack's injury put him centre-stage.

They will pay a fee of £500k for this keeper, who yesterday said goodbye to his Gent teammates. He is inward bound.

I'm up in the middle of the night with a toothache!
When I get up properly, I hope this has been confirmed.
He is the right age and there seem to be more positives than negatives in reports about him.

    Only 6ft 3in
    Itchy feet, doesn't stick anywhere
    Poor goalscoring record

Would have preferred the proven Westwood, but this guy sounds decent.

Armstrong seems to come up with the goods even when playing poor.
I would only sell if it was extremely high.
