    Callum Roberts Scouting Report

I found this a very interesting piece of analysis on our Geordie Messi. Hope you do too...

I loved this bit: "Moreover, he has shown he can perform in difficult circumstances. In one of the games watched for this article he performed solidly, if not spectacularly, during a Tuesday night game away to a rough and rugged AFC Fylde, played on a pitch more in keeping with the final day of Glastonbury than a professional football match. "

To be fair Wedgie i dont blame him one bit. He was not one of Ardleys players, and regardless of his potential he was always going to be overlooked. There will come a day very soon when the likes of Roberts and Enzio will have had enough of playing in this crap league and want to move on. Players of that calibre will be difficult to replace and will not want to be playing none league football...
Ardley hopefully will not be with us for the long term, as he relegated us and more recently cost us our place back in the football league, with his crap team selection and unbelievable substitutions...

Unwanted, or unlikely to get much of a look in given the riches we have upfront for this level? Roberts Rodriguez and Enzio will all get on the team sheet before him. It could be best for all if he moves on of course as I am sure he wants first team football and that is not likely for him at Notts next season.

We'll be under no obligation to sell him unless a big bid comes in so I'm not too worried about him going anywhere yet, if his form continues over next season we'll be looking at a huge fee imo

If/when he goes, we will need better than Osborne to replace him.

I'd agree but careful, you're not allowed to think Osborne isn't the next Lionel Messi because he's local.

I'd imagine Ardley's database of players thanks to Football Radar is a delight to look at and we'll have options across the board to fill positions if and when they open up. Recruitment under Ardley has been the best we've had for years and it seemed that way even before the Reedtz brothers came in to be fair to him. Other than Shields...
