If I remember right, Saturday was our first competitive game in almost 6 months whereas apart from Coventry all other Championship teams have played meaningful games more recently. In addition they have also had the experience of playing competitive games in the COVID era, behind closed doors 'bubble'. I know we've played warm up games but those are never as intense as real and meaningful competition. However, on the flip side, Salford were in the same boat as us and still were able to make us look ordinary.
Ring rusty? Even if we are we'll need to step up our game at 12:30 on Saturday as Wycombe look to be far from the 'push over' some might have been dreaming they would be.
