So where do you think we'll finish?

I am of course talking about the National league 2020/21 season if it goes ahead. The squad seems near completion and we've had a couple of streamed friendlies to get a first sight of the new signings, so where do you think we'll finish?

Please be aware that the only way your vote will be registered is by clicking on one of the options. I don't count the votes and update them, I just have one vote like everyone else. You can simply click the button of your choice, or click the button and add a reason why you voted the way you did. All votes are equal and are counted by buttons clicked, nothing more. I think it would be interesting to get an idea of what people's expectations are, so click away and add a comment if you want to.

I'm sticking with the prediction I made after we fell 2-0 behind in the play off final, 9th.

Never gamble but I agree with the bookies. We’ll be thereabouts but not there at the top, let’s hope we make a better job of the playoffs.

If it helps Laddo I think we will walk the league and be promoted undefeated with a record points total.

3rd and fail miserably in the play offs ,AGAIN!

There's no way we'll go up as champions.

I've gone for a fourth place finish. I think we have the squad for top two, but not the management.

That's my thinking too. There are managers that could win the league with this squad, but I'm not convinced Ardley is one. So somewhere between 2nd and 5th for me. And yes, we'll fail in the playoffs again.

We should be capable of and aiming to be champions and that is why I’m going for 1st place.

Last season we finished 3rd which is 95th in the football pyramid. Our lowest placed finish in our entire 158 year history. In May 19 we hit rock bottom and last year was a year of planting new seeds which the shoots and regeneration started to appear under our current owners.

It all came together before lockdown and taking the performance of the final out of the equation we have been progressing and moving forward both on and off the pitch.

If we were to finish lower than 3rd then technically we would have regressed as we should be looking to move forwards up the league each season. However if we finish 4-7th then get promoted whilst we would have finished lower we jump back into the football league.

Finish lower than 3rd and lose the playoffs for me would be failure as it means we would yet again finish in our lowest ever standing in the football pyramid.

It’s got to be automatic or playoff winners for this season to be one of progression on the pitch for me.
