    Conor Gallagher

Reports by Masi E&S and Madeley the Athletic Reporting that Conor Gallagher will be coming on a 12 month loan. Good signing if right Box to Box Midfielder.

He's an excellent player so does that mean Sawyers can do one? Can somebody please please get us a decent striker otherwise we are ****ed!

Without 5-6 more signings it’s pointless

    I totally agree on this.

I feel a bit sorry for the lad if I’m honest......a hiding to nothing in truth.

I’m reminded about our initial efforts and failures in the Premier League and a lot of it came down to lack of top level experience and nous.

It was only when players like Scharner started to come to us that we built a solid platform.

Yesterday we looked like a side that had no belief that it was worthy of being at that level.

This is why Deeney type signings are important but we need them at the back and in midfield as well.

That's because we're a decent championship side mate.

Gallagher would be an amazing signing ..... watched a few Swansea games last year. He’s mobile, good engine, skilful and not afraid to put his foot in. Would slot nicely into our midfield - possibly in place of Sawyers.

If we can get Deeney to provide some steel and experience upfront....and Ivanovic to provide the same at the back..... we may yet have a chance of at least competing. We did look completely over-awed yesterday.

Grant will be a decent signing but like Krov - we are p issing about with the pennies. Deeney is better than our misfits but no pace whatsoever and in my view not the answer unless we are desperate. Sorry - we are desperate!!!!!

Agreed - next 2-3 weeks will decide our season. If we can bring in Gallagher, Deeney, Grant, Krov and Ivanovic.... then we may just have a chance...... also offload Zohore (£50k a week ..... really in the Champ?), Hegazi, Austin, maybe Philips, loan out Harper, Edwards, Field etc...
