    Mark Connolly

Hate to single out individual players but this now has gone well beyond a joke.

From interviews he seems like a lovely guy. Obviously he is respected around the dressing room.

That matters but ultimately we cannot continue to just give away goals

This is not a new thing.

The St Mirren play off and plenty of times before.

No coincidence our best unbeaten spell last season was with Reynolds and Watson at the back.

He has not got any ability to play the ball from the back.

He dictates a bad pattern of play

He has ALWAYS got a terrible error in him.

Pre season v Killie then exactly the same mistake against St Johnstone it cost us the win.

Tonight it’s just a complete give away to a side near us in the table

That was so costly and so unnecessary

    Sadly it was no surprise.

Lovely guy and I wish him well in his career but please I do not want him at United

Tbf to the guy, Edwards' slip put him under a hell of a lot of pressure. Pressure he couldn't handle unfortunately. But yes, we're always prone to a howler when he's in the team.

It’s not just the very regular defensive howlers and errors

He’s great in the air but he can’t pass the ball.

He also can’t defend without fouling which will cause us trouble

    That’s it for me now.

Let him away with two bad ones already this year but he has done it one too many times

He is not that tall for heading the ball.

It was the first wtf moment of the Mellon era when we gave him an extended contract.

Let’s hope Neilson fancies him at hearts.

He could do well there - get Ann budge on the phone 📞👍🏻🤞

It's unfair to blame the CB's when the whole team was so poor, the ball just kept on coming back into our box the whole game. We never strung two passes together and couldn't hold on to the ball at all. I'm blaming the bloody lot of them not singling any one out other than to say it would have been utterly embarrassing if not for Deniz.

Against Hamilton the ball went over his head then he turned and blamed Reynolds and Robson.

He has a mistake a game in him.

He is an exceptionally nice guy but as Mourinho tells his players - it is baastards that are needed for 90 minutes

I agree tonight was dire. Absolute garbage.

You just can’t have someone in your team though who can’t defend at critical moments and will give goals away.

He’s been at fault a lot this season. When he plays we concede more goals - same as last season
