    RIP Nobby Stiles

Second World Cup winner to die with advanced dementia this year. Not many of the great side left now. Great character was Nobby

Love the footage/picture of him skipping around Wembley holding the World Cup aloft.

    RIP Nobby

Yes that moment, World cup in one hand and his false teeth in the other. What a true footballing character.
    RIP little big man.

I remember the World Cup Final like it was yesterday but I first saw Nobby earlier in 1966 on my first ever away game as link below:

Farewell to a legend. RIP Nobby!

    RIP Nobby

"played a key role in neutralising Portugal star Eusebio in the 1966 semi-final". I bet he had a lot of bruises after being neutralised by Nobby.

Bit of a depleted 1966 team now with just George Cohen, Bobby Charlton, Geoff Hurst and Roger Hunt left.

Surely Roger Hunt died last year?
