This type of person has always got on my t it’s........we all know the sort, too much time on their hands and always sticking their noses in.
I’ve lived in my rural spot for three years now, I have only one close neighbour and I keep myself to myself......I say “hello” to my neighbour and to anyone else I see when I’m out exercising but I’m not the sort to join committees etc.
Today we received a letter from someone at the Parish Council.
Apparently, the half a dozen small tree stumps I put on the grass verge in front of my front hedge are a “hazard”.
They prevent anybody about to crash from ploughing across said grass verge!
I was reminded that this is “Council Land”.
I shall be reminding them that this land is so valuable and sacred that they require me to cut it........in fact, if it wasn’t for the charity of the local farmers no grass or hedge cutting or snow clearing would ever get done on our stretch of road!
We put these tiny lumps of wood on the verge because when we moved in the whole patch was chewed up mud from any delivery van or the postie parking on there.
It was also done to deter people from letting their dog s h I t outside my house like they’d been previously allowed to do because the previous owner had left it looking like they didn’t care.
This jobsworth would rather have a muddy s h I t patch ready for the one in a million driver who needs my ten yards of frontage to save themselves from a head on death whilst mowing me down on my own drive!
These “Little Hitlers” at the Local
Council and the sad t w a t who dobbed me in need to get a life.
These bits of wood have been in situ for three years for Christ’s sake.......just as well there’s been no need for this escape route during this period.
The most ironic thing is that the council’s verge on the opposite side is a f king shambles and totally overgrown!!
These people are imbeciles granted power.
