    Ripped a new one

by Leeds. We were very lucky to be level at the break and still in the game at 2-2.
I never like to see us lose but teams that play anti-football don’t deserve success and this hammering has been some time coming.

We should have had a clear pen to go 2-1 in front but 2nd half we were terrible

I agree....and I hate feeling this about my team, it's a proper head fuck but I was almsot annoyed rather than relieved when we scored the second because I thought 'ffs, Bruce has got away with it again'

This type of football shouldn't be successful because it's so shit to watch. If football had been played likke this when it was first invented then nowadays it would be a niche sport, played and watched by a few diehards because it's absolutely anything but entertainment.

Leeds actually showed how it could be played this evening and the frustrating thing is we could play like that if our manager wasn't such an absolute arse. And I'm not saying we'd be better or worse at it than Leeds but at least it would be entertaining to watch and that's the point...Bruce's football is only about the result and any 'style' of football is justified in pursuit of points. So, even when we win, we haven't been entertained and when we lose playing like this...well, you feel doubly cheated.

Oh, and I agree...this has been a long time coming. Most of us are astounded we have 17 points at this stage and we all know we've been incredibly lucky in games.

Those shots against stats have been threatening something like this for ages and we ouldn't have complained if the scoreline had been even higher I don't think this will be the last thumping we have either.

And let's not forget, Leeds were playing Chimpo football last season and they handed us a proper lesson this evening. Thing is, you're meant to learn from lessons.....we all know that we won't.

A result like this been a long time coming.

If Bielsa was our coach, with some of the talent we have....... one can dream.

Brucie will no doubt blame the players and not his lack of tactics.

Meanwhile, in Bruce's world....'I was disappointed in the last 10-15 minutes because I thought if any team was going to go on and win it, could it be us?'

    just wow
