    Bashing the PNEs

So how does anyone see this going on Boxing Day - I fancy a sneaky 1-0 win, as opposed to my usual 0-0 gloominess

Life don’t feel so great when you lose 10 mins into injury time.

You just knew the ref was gonna keep playing for as long as could hoping they'd score, down to 10, Knight, Buchanan, Byrne, none have the quality to beat their man a cross in, despite all that it's 0-0 in the 95th minute and you'd take that, gutted

    Ref 1 Derby 0.

    1. Fisher's yellow should have been his second.
    2. Just before HT, Jozwiak gets between man and ball and is clear, we have 1 2v1 advantage in the middle (3 if you count Joz), Fisher goes down like a sack of spuds, clear dive as nowt happened, that would have been his 3rd yellow.....
    3. Knight gets thrown down.... nowt
    4. It takes 2 of them but they manage to throw CKR over..... nowt
    5. Any one of a myriad of other fouls by them and we got...... nowt
    6. Sibley fouled in the centre circle........ again we get nowt and they move downfield and score. The Derby Way

Points out of 10 for the ref? NOWT !!

For 19 minutes, I was thinking we would win. Then Waggy had a rush of blood and saw red. About the only important decision the ref got right all day.

More than happy with the performance from there on in. 10 brave souls giving all they had to get a result. In the end, the result they got was NOT what they deserved.

Buchanan helped them with their goal. Should have gone for the man (Browne) with the ball. Lad was caught in 2 minds as to what to do and ended up doing neither. I won't criticise though, take it as a coaching point and move on. More to the point, how was he left in a 1v2 situation on the edge of our box.......

Overall I was pleased with the performance and it gives more hope than fear for the future. On to St Andrews on Tuesday and 3 points. Keep the 10. He'll probably go for Lawro as the 11th..... I probably wouldn't.

I was surprised given the sending off, how the subs were left until late in the game, inexperience in game management by Rooney? For me just shows we need an experienced manager not a well known rookie in charge and the sooner the better.
