    Homo erectus

I love history, and our country has some of the best in the world. I also like world history and the continual changing shape of the countries as they expand and contract.
But we can only go back a couple of millennia. We all know the story of Troy, but just three thousand years ago archeologists are unsure if Troy ever existed.
Go back even further to when several species of humans walked the earth.
Think of all the history and exciting stories that have been lost forever in the mists of time.
Mammoth hunts, battle's with cave lions and cave bears. Homo sapiens versus homo erectus, Neanderthal's etc. How much has been lost. What stories they would have had to tell.
    Food for thought?
Incidentally although homo erectus is supposed to be extinct for 30,000 years, there seems to be a few throwbacks on the Albion sites on FB.
Some of them have a job stringing a couple of words together.
Still they are good for a bit of fun. When i see their thread's my fingers twitch like Denis's.🤣

Honestly I can’t believe people are slagging Sam on his tactics. Yes Tactics are ***** when two teams of equal ability are pitted against each other but a top tier vs level 3 !

    Here is another view

3 Center halves but Ayai more forward acting more like a DM but dropping back if required.

Allowing at times 3 attacking midfielders to push into shooting positions

2 Wingbacks making overlaps with our 2 wide players

This should have been a very flexible formation providing ample cover in defence and also numbers of attackers. Most people who have expected any top tier team to easy win this game.

BUT once again our midfield was the problem.

Typically Bartley trying to play forward with no midfielder wanting or showing for the ball.

Having dallied on the ball he consistently telegraphed his intentions and wacked a ball towards Peltier who was like a wilderbeast surrounded by a pack of lions. When our midfield did arrive there was a scrum of players huddled together trying to thread through an eye of an needle. More often than not the opposition muscled us out of the way and broke with speed and purpose showing a clean pair of heels to our lot. Not just yesterday either all season

Once again another 2 conceded due to the midfield losing the ball, not chasing back, not watching runners.

Then there is the shooting, ! oh dear Krov is no Modric, so lightweight, send him back
    Livermore, so slow, captain useless.
Sawyers, needs a vitamin D Check, Sweating profusely, lethargic, Muzzy head, low energy

I went on a site last night called the Bygone decades, they were on about Tom Jones. I said he sounds like a castrated Tom cat. The women didn't half get uppity, one said that i looked like a castrated Tom cat and should look in a mirror.😮😂
Someone said i was tone deaf, i said that was David Es*** and i wondered how the pair of them ever got job's as singer's.

Yes, David Es***, he was not a good singer, he was just a very average ‘pop idol’ for **** girls. Tom Jones, well up himself, he is his own biggest fan.
