    Covid experience number 364

    Bank today.

    Small branch Dundee.

Get there 1 customer inside, 1 queuing in doorway then me in the rain.

Customer oot, customer in, me in doorway.

Employee teeks round door and says "we will let you in when this gentleman comes oot"

    Ok.

Customer out I go to go in but door shut to 4 inches ajar again.

    "What you here for today"

    To bank

    What type of banking

Cancell Dd, set up new Dd, swap money over and take a small amount of cash out"

You can take cash out at machine do you not have internet banking.

    Yes I know and no.

Do you have a face mask

    No

    Why

    I don't carry one

    Why

    Exempt

When I get in I ask why they can only let 1 customer in.

Because that's all we have room for.

They have the man with 100 questions on the door, a woman telling you to stand on a red dot, a cashier behind the counter and a floor walker trying to sell credit cards......that's why it's one in one out maximum of one.

    Covid madness.

You'd never get this type of behaviour in Finland

I am involved in three small organisations that do not need nor will be given, online banking. It is very frustrating not being able to pop in speak to the teller and get the job done. On a couple of occasions the queue minder asked me what I wanted to do. The had an ipad and were following their protocol. Both times I was ushered to a comfy waiting area where I sat and waited. Sure enough someone come along and when I am allowed to explain what I wanted to do, in my own words, had to see the teller. Sorry to say I was not my usual calm self and I spoke sharply to the counter staff. Poor from me, it's not their fault, but it just seems banks are desperate to run away from handling money. If I could operate without a bank account I would deffo consider it. Any suggestions?

That wasn't really a graph, it was a projection. Thankfully bozo the clown paid some heed and put in measures.

How are those 35,000 cancer deaths of yours coming along?

    Yes.

Far too much of a gentleman, speak more sharply, more often.😁
