Green/yellow striped shirt, yellow socks, and LIGHT BLUE shorts!? 😳😬🙄

Is there an explanation to that!?

The all green and yellow strip evolved during the 70s. First they started to play in a changed strip of yellow shirts and light blue shorts in the early 70s. Then they added the green stripes in the mid seventies and then a year or two later they had changed the blue shorts to green.

I was there at the end celebrating on the managers dug out roof - what a day!

Loved Bradford away too with the penalty winner!

It seems like yesterday. Man United played Leicester on the same day and we passed on the M6, our support dwarfing theirs.

I actually preferred that strip to the green shorts. The scarves were good too, green and yellow with sky blue in between.

I was there that day, celebrating amongst that lot behind the goal. That evening, watched the highlights on the TV in The Swan pub, Chaddesley Corbett; the pub erupted when the goal ‘went in’! That was a Very Good Day Out.

I was travelling back from Harrogate on a National bus after spending Easter at my nan's house.

I didn't know anything about the result until I got into Digbeth when my dad picked me up.

Bloody awful strip combination that day though, absolutely hideous yet iconic now.

I was to be seen singing and dancing on top of an Oldham bus shelter
