    Surprise US BFC

    SCREAM
Very sad and highly disappointing to see the level of utter “dross” served up by the players
    today.
Sean Dyche had some interesting comments to make on the radio before the match, yet he
continues to perplex me with his team selections.!
Why Brownhill has to make way for Cork on the team sheet and play out of position is one of
    many.
The line up had negativity stamped all over it from the start, with Wood completely isolated
    throughout.
A favourite comment from Sean is “all about layering” but if drastic surgery does not take
place before next season; then we will be relegated along with a worse record than either
Derby County did (worst Premier results ever) or Sheffield have done this season.
Just as I thought things couldn't get worse, we now have Norris between the sticks (shades
of Hart all over again as the defence clearly had little faith in him) and he did nothing to
inspire them or disappoint them on that score either.
    Where does this leave Farrell-Peacock?
Along with him and Hart we have invested the “thick end” of 9 million pounds with what I fear
will ultimately be “nothing to show for it”
Tarkowski looked disinterested throughout but he wasn't alone in that, and now Wet Spam
are rumoured to be looking at the possibilities of acquiring Wood.
I won't mention the remainder of the players who should exit the club, as all have been
already named on the site this evening
    -ponderous-slow-lacking imagination-technically limited!!!
We have had players who could change a game from the calibre of Blake all the way back to
the great Ralph Coates (add in Trevor Steven and those who remember Terry Cochrane but
now I am becoming far too sentimental!).
I accept that we have witnessed a season like no other and unprecedented in our lifetimes,
but since the Fulham game the team looked like they have spent their remaining time in the
    pub.
They need to take a long hard look at themselves.

Job done. Switch off. Go on holiday. Come back. Go again.

That's what I would have done, but why SD has it in for Vydra, God only knows.

He does act in mysterious ways on occasion our Sean, the Joe Hart/goalkeeper situation was a debacle that could surely have been avoided, but with Vydra it seems to me an act of self-harm. I could understand breaking up our best strike partnership to pack the midfield against Liverpool, but to do the same against the bottom of the league in a meaningless game beggars belief. I'd love to know his thinking, what does he not like about Vydra, we all know he's not Lionel Messi, but he's proved he's the best we have playing off Wood, just what is Sean's problem with him ?

I wonder if the little Czech rascal has been sniffing where he should not have been sniffing?

Good advice BT, but somehow this year despite all the obvious distractions along with the pandemic effect something (more than usual)just doesn't seem quite right.
To be fair to ALK, their efforts so far on the "infrastructure and club development" look extremely promising.
Over the next 2 months "fingers crossed" we might be surprised, but years of failure hasn't exactly improved my cynicism.
I wonder where Mike Rigg will come out of it all (does he exist)? its been said on here before the yanks do not like wage stealers.
What of Barnes too-his misdemeanours could mean the end of his career with Burnley (part exchange out of the door)
His behaviour cant lie well with the brothers from Salt Lake City

I think he judges players who go down too easy as not being suited to his tactics. If you fall over easy which Vydra seems to do then you cannot get back to defend quick enough.

In which case CiB you have to ask why he signed him, he'd been playing in England for six years before he signed him, he must have known what he was getting.

We’ve been down this road before though sinkov , Wells - Gibson etc - Hart

They turned up under Dyche tenure I mean Wells was a favourite of Dyche s so he said at the time and yet he refused to play him.

I have given up trying to understand Dyche's team selections. We have one of the lowest scoring record this season, yet when paired with Vydra Wood starts to score regularly. So in the last two games Vydra is dropped to the bench and is replaced with Brownhill playing in an unnatural position. While that may be acceptable to fortify a poor mid-field against Liverpool, I find it unacceptable against Sheffield United.

"Something doesn't seem quite right", exactement mon brave, we are at a crossroad and one path leads to oblivion and the other path leads there too but with a chance of survival. melodramatics aside another year in the prem then relegation wouldn't bother me as long as we had built a new team for the future.
