    Too many games?

Managers and players of today cry about too many games, a too congested schedule etc.

Well, in the 1978/79 season we played 25 games in the final 84 days of the season (19 in the league, 4 FAC, 2 UEFA-cup).

In 1967/68 we played 15 games in the last 50 days of the season, 10 in the league and 5 FAC, which we won.

And, in April 1912, over 27 days we played 12 games, 9 league games and 3 FAC.

    Just saying like. 😎

In those days we were competing in various cup competitions, often until the latter stages.

We have no interest in anything after January these days.
