To Joseph Masi for publication ( I have e-mail ) - Answer Question - Appleton?

I have the e-mail of Joseph Masi so will ask for publication. Michael Appleton Potential Appointment - Answer Yes/No and nothing else with a one line sentence.

    I will kick off

    Appleton - NO

Will be out of his depth and yet again the cheap option!

If Appleton is appointed and then fails, he will be crucified by the fans. I think, though, that would probably be unfair, as whoever is appointed will like be a failure in our eyes as they will not be given adequate resources to do the job properly. While we have these horrible Chinese owners, the chances of us doing well are minimal. We need to be rid of the Chinese.

    As Frankie Howard famously said,

    “Ney, ney and thrice ney”.

    He also used to say,

    “Not on your Nellie”.....

Either phrase will do for me.

I'd take Appleton as boss over Lampard or Terry any day of the week. Yes, that includes match day. Too much is made of a second half collapse donkey's years ago. He's actually a very good coach and will have learned a lot about club politics the hard way. I've no idea who we'll appoint but I wouldn't hsit the bed if Appleton got the gig.

I agree, he's got 20 years coaching under his belt.
Also think Paul Cook would be a good shout.

The cheap option and truly shows the ambitions of FOL and his cronies. Lampard would do for me, not that he’s a brilliant coach but he has pull, at worst we should see some decent loan signings. Appleton has none, we would be looking at picking out of the league 1 and 2 bin, I have a terrible feeling we may go down this season...
