Nah .... we’re gonna smash the Danes 3-0 .... two for Kane and one for Stirling..... it’s coming home ... don’t ya know .... in Southgate we trust .... I think we have better players than Denmark ....
Watching the Spain v Italy game last night .... glad we will not playing Spain if we get to the final ... looked the better team last night ...
Famous last words ....
I dunno I think Phillips and Rice have been really well disciplined in order to help the defence
Walker has been solid on the right I hope Shaw doesn’t get carried away with his whole Shawberto Carlos nickname
I think we have been holding a lot back and playing at a canter to be honest, I hope we can switch it up
If we go a goal down and win I think that will setup up to win on Sunday
I’m glad we are playing Sancho now, Kane is a hell of a finisher and Sterling is scoring (and being greedy)
We have a great bench to change things up
The only problem is the Danes have been strengthened by the whole Eriksen issue, which could be dangerous
My prediction 3-1 to Us
Can't have this Shawberto Carlos bollax. Yes, when he goes forward, he can put in some excellent crosses. However, his game in general is continually playing the ball sideways or backwards. I was completely frustrated in the last game to see his body position when he got the ball which meant a negative pass was the only option. It is an affront to the great man even to mention his name in the same breath as the great Roberto Carlos.
Could agree more TB
I’d prefer Trippier at LB
Walker is prone to giving a dangerous stray pass away at times. To be fair he also steps in an covers for the other defenders as well.
Im not getting carried away , yes in a wooden box one day, or maybe the men in white coats.
So far the England games have not pushed my Bood Pressure in the red zone, its just a matter of time however.
Yet we have smashed records for coming this far in a major tournament without conceding a goal. Whatever happens tonight we have come on leaps and bounds and the future looks very bright.
Don’t you just have that feeling of dread though purely because it is England!?
Non of my teams have ever won a cup semi final in the 50 years I’ve been watching football.
Losing to Ipswich in 78, QPR in 82, and Portsmouth latterly n the FA Cup and to Spurs in 82 in the League Cup semis as well as England losing in quarters and semis in so many tournaments from Mexico in 1970.
The only thing we’ve ever “won” is a play off final for the 3rd tier of English football.
The Italians “found a way” last night and that’s something we’ve never managed in my lifetime.
Due to my general stress and anxiety issues I won’t be able to watch the match live tonight, I feel I jinx things anyway.
I just hope that if we do lose that it’s not on penalties.
It’s the hope that’s the killer with Albion and England albeit the hope has left town in regards to Albion and spends its time residing in China and Jersey!
Whatever happens, it ain’t coming home, because the European Championship has never been ‘home’! So let’s just hope that we can give it a new ‘home’.
