England v Italy (Euro 2020 Final!!!!!!!)

Well it's match day and i don't know about anyone else but i'm nervous as hell!....god knows how i'll be feeling during the actual match! And as an after thought i wonder how i'd be if Newcastle reached the FA Cup Final or whatever...

Just read an interview by Chiellini where he said that England's bench could have got to the final on their own. Hopefully he's right about the strength of our squad....

Italy are going into this game 33 games unbeaten but England have only conceded 1 goal during the whole tournament so it'll be interesting (although nerve racking) to see how the game pans out..

I'm going to go with 1-1 after full-time and 3-1 to England after extra time..

    FFS COME ON ENGLAND!!!!

I can't begin to imagine what I'd feel if we got to another final. Turning up would be a fucking start, mind, given that we didn't for either of those last two.

As for tomorrow, I'll get more nervous as the day goes by.

We can do it...I just think Southgate's pragmatism will be our undoing as I think we'd have to be more adventurous to beat this Italy team.

This Italian side is probably the best counter attacking side in the world at the moment, get too adventurous and they will score.

I really hope the game doesn't go to penalties.......i'll need an ambulance on standby if that happens

Can't the universe let Berrettini beat Djokovic at Wimbledon and England beat Italy? That way we'd be happy and the Italians would have some consolation....fcuk Djokovic he's already won enough grand slams!

England 2 - 1 Italy after 90 min. Kane to score both goals as they will be all over Sterling. Simple really.

That's what I've gone for with a Willie Hill free bet except for both Kane and Stirling to score.

Feeling optimistic which is unusual for an England game, think 2-0 or 2-1 in normal time. I watched the 66 final yesterday on ch4 in colour and managed to be nervous!!! Howay England, we deserve it with the amount of good charity work almost every one of this England team does, they are an admirable bunch of lads.

This game is set for the Italians, they are very good defensively, they get forward quick and can score for fun.
Their game plan does not need to change, their defence is experienced and their attackers are gung ho.

England have grinded results out in this tournament, they have not been easy on the eye at times but got the job done.

Southgate has got them playing for each other and the spirit could not be higher.
This has got 0-0 written all over it, both teams will stay solid at the back and hope to counter

England have the achilles heel in goal, who always always lets the occasion get to him.

If it goes to penalties, England will win, T-rex arms will save 3
