    Oh Lordy, Lordy........At Last 🙏

I’ve waited a lifetime to see an Albion team get in the faces of the opposition in the way we did tonight.

Non of this trying to play possession football with players who aren’t capable and 20 passes sideways in our own half like under Bilic.

My one concern is balls over the top behind Bartley and co and this needs a bit more thought and possibly more pace at the back.

From an opposition point of view though we are going to be a nightmare to play against most of the time.

We have to expect the odd bad day though, I suspect a bad day will be a very bad day but the positive days will outweigh by a mile.

THIS is our template for a future in the Premier League as well though.

No more Mr F u c k I n g Nice Guy and a stroll out against an Albion side.

    THANK GOD!!

It is refreshing Mick. I agree no one will want to play us, and rather than substitutions being a snub it’s more of a fresh legs keep up the pace decision. So everyone can buy into it.

Totally agree and exciting times! Val looks the type on the touch line kicking every ball - no one messes with me!!

The ground will be rocking against Luton and can’t wait - well if I get tickets!!!

My only concern is the defence, if you look at Liverpool who play this way, they were quite easy by their standards to play against (they had key players out of course) sit deep and play out on the counter, teams that are all about the press with no plan B struggle with teams that stick 2 banks of 4 in front of them, Bournemouth was in many ways the ideal team for us to play as this is not their way, Luton will sit deep, proof of how the players are suited to the system will I think be better highlighted on Saturday, we need a very mobile centre back to help cover the counter and balls over the top..

I do think we all knew that the speed of the back 3, or lack of it, is going to be our Achilles heel.
Not sure how quick Matt Clarke is, and I do think that Ayaji is quicker than Bartley and O’Shea but we do look to be vulnerable to the quick ball over the top when we are pressing upfield. That said still early days and we will only get better organised as we get more used to the new system.

Yes, good to see players from the start showing desire, passion and being aggressive.

And defence (lack of speed) weak link as it seems, we are still ”easy to score against”.

We were overall the better team vs B’mouth, and we saw some good performances, and others not so good.

    Button, not convincing

    Kipré, looked shaky
Bartley, loved the attitude and commitment, but there are defensive flaws, as we know
O’Shea, looked more comfortable than in the PL, good attitude as well, and probably best defender

Furlong, as always put a great shift in, probably more of a winger than RB, better going forward
Mowatt, our best player probably, good acquisition
    Livermore, did his job
Townsend, not really a wing back imo, better as LB

Diangana, huffed and puffed, a bit light weight though, but the talent is there
    Grant, were was he?
    Robinson, good

Phillips, really good and behind 2nd goal
Zohore, too few minutes, looked a physical monster though.

And, JUST LOVED the passion and commitment from Ismaël on the line!!!

Totally agreed Swedish. Grant needs to get in the game more for sure. Diangana looks too predictable and a Harvey Barnes he’s not - the talent is there as shown in the championship previously! We do need Clarke and Johnstone back plus a striker - would put Tulloch on after we are comfortable to really see what he adds as for me - the kid looks great and he needs to show what he can do!
