    O/T Ikea

Visited IKEA Wednesbury Saturday night at 8pm, closes at 9pm and it was heaving. What's so popular about this place? Anyway bought a TV bench for the new Telly - putting it together today, ought to be easy enough to do, shouldn't it?

I've only been to IKEA once. I was on crutches at the time and it was packed. Bloody nightmare of a morning.

Each to their own but most of the furniture on display that day was overpriced tat. No idea if it's any better but I won't be going back in a hurry.

Only been there once. Some of the smaller items are OK but the furniture is utter rubbish!

Would rather stick pins in my knackers, cheaply made furniture that looks ok but will be down the local tidy tip in a few years time!

The Swedish seem to be very nice people and it’s resulted in us being sucked in by this being nah of charlatans at IKEA.

The stuff is rubbish and if I remember correctly the guy who started it was a very unsavoury character.......was he a Nazi during the war?

There was an expose about IKEA on TV a couple of years ago which showed the company in a very poor light.

Utter junk! OK to deck out students accommodation as long as they don’t fall on the products when p issed as it will fall to bits!

Then again I don’t get what people see in Aldi or Lidl - fruit always looks rotten and booze like Greek own brand meths! Everyone to their own!

I eventually completed the small task of constructing the Ikea telly bench for my new 55' Samsung smart TV. All was going well until I noticed I had put the rear panel the wrong way round which meant the wires from the TV had to come thru the top rather than the bottom. No way to rectify as once the connecting pins were in they could not be removed - how effing stupid. Anyway you cant see the bodge job unless you look behind the TV. I blame them bloody ikea instructions, no way am I that bad
