    Romaine sawyers

Romaine Sawyers is signing tomorrow on season long loan for Stoke. Good luck to him.
Hopefully we will have a couple or three new men before the window closes.

He’ll probably drive down to Gloucester and then over to Lincoln and then make an overnight stop in Lichfield before actually arriving in Stoke based on the way he plays his football.

Oh......and not come even close to breaking the speed limit!

Good luck to the lad. Clearly talented and ‘one of our own’ I understand. Not suited to the Val style, but will be a decent addition to Stoke.

Yes good luck to him but he was not suited to Bilic's or Fat Sam's style either. More suited to walking football style!

Even Brentford supporters were not disappointed to see him leave and why would they when every player in that position was better and bust a gut!

It's a pity that it didn't work out for him on his return to Albion as he came through our ranks and obviously has this club close to his heart. Having said this, he has been poor over the past eigh**** months and obviously would not fit in with Ismael's high intensity play. It's therefore best for both parties for him to move on.

I must admit he has been a real disappointment and seems to have lost all confidence.

I for one was so pleased when he moved to us after what I thought was a very good spell at Brentford based on the bits I saw on tv and internet. Real pity it hasn’t worked out but wish him all the best.

Feel for him but can’t argue with anything said here. Micks travel illustration says it all.

I expect he's gutted that things haven't worked out as well as he expected. But he's a professional, and will know it's a part of football. But I thank him for his efforts and wish him well in the future.

Sawyers gone. Sorry but as he was supposed to be an Albion lad through and through you would think he would leave his lungs out on the pitch every game. The most animated I saw from him was when he grabbed the kid from Bristol City around the neck. However we need to replace him for depth of squad.
