    Will Hughes

Linked again today us and palarce who’ve apparently offered 5 million.
Personally for me I’d like this to happen he’s aggressive - competitive and has a pass in his locker as well .

This boy was on his way to Barcelona before a serious injury flummoxed that.

We should buy him at decent money he’d be a good recruit , proven premier league player still young enough to offer us value for money , everything Burnley want apparently- Make it happen please ?

I'd prefer the arsenal lad with the double barrel name, I know, but I'm just wanting something we cannot have.

Hughes reminds me of another Hendrick Army

Hes Far superior footballer to hendrick Alto , as it stands at minute I’d take him back as well at least he’s mobile and does a job.

We’re in a worse state without hendrick as average a footballer he was.

Bloody hell army, you're scraping the barrel there mate. Newcastle are in as bad a state as us, but since Jeff got sent off six months ago on February 6th, Bruce has only started him in just the one game. If he isn't good enough for them he isn't good enough for us, we need better than Newcastle rejects to get us out of the hole we're in.

My point Sinkov was he’s a mobile body who got up and down the pitch , plus he was utility as in he play where asked to do so.
I accept he’s not a gifted footballer - here’s a question Lennon or Hendrick be honest.

I remember watching him when we played Watford and thinking he would be ideal for us.Our midfield needs more than just one replacement though.
So far evolution has brought us Hennessy on a free, like for like with Gibson, maybe Aaron Lennon and a new groundsman.Definitely not revolution.
I am convinced SD is waiting until the end of the window and if there are no serious additions then he will not sign and I for one, would not blame him.

The obvious answer is neither army, but if you put a gun to my head I'd say Lennon. I really do not like Hendrick, sure he's a trier, but imo he's a liability, he could easily lose you a game. Lennon is unlikely ever to win us a game, but tucked away on the wing I don't think he's going to lose us one either. I can't say the same about our Jeff.

Anyway you've dropped me right in it now army, Sub is President of the Jeff Hendrick Appreciation Society, when he reads this he's going to be right on my case. I'm in serious trouble.

Opinions are like arseholes in that everyone has one.

I value your opinion like everybody else's Army, my opinion is they are both average, which we have been struggling with for too long, we need players with a bit more calibre or we'll continue to struggle the way we have been doing for the last few years, eventually that struggle will end in relegation if we don't try and better ourselves.

If both clubs meet the asking price it will be down to the player, and I cannot for the life of me think of any reason why Hughes would prefer us to Palace. Except of course if we offer him a lot more money, and we aren't going to do that, so I expect he's on his way to Palace.

Somewhere deep down in the Hendrick psyche is a proper footballer, we saw it at the French Euros and on the odd occasion when he played for us.

For us, he's best off on the Toon bench and personally I would send one of the Terrier fleet to pick Hughes up for free. If Pace could find the paltry sum of five million to capture his signature, a taxi would be despatched FOC.

Good footballer is Hughes, Cork's legs have gone and we need cover urgently, £20 million would procure Hughes and Phillips from Liverpool. WTF we are waiting for I have no idea.
