Andersen looked better under the Ismael Hoofball System because his role was simply to aimlessly hoof it back up the pitch or out of play first time without having to control or pass it and also to stand in a high line near the heyf way line and play head tennis. His technical abilities may not suit a different way of playing.
Brings a presence to the team though
Just seen the kitchen suspended thread. So problem solved. For now
I like Mads and his commitment and he's a much improved player .
People forget he was instrumental in the " Great Escape " under Struber so the hoof ball comments lack credibility .
He won't be back for several weeks so Halme will have to come in for the suspended Kitching or possibly Moon .
I thought it was the introduction of the experienced Sollbauer that was the key factor in improving the
defence. Andersen's confidence was shattered and he needed to return home to re-build. The nine games behind closed doors at the end after he returned saw him recover a little. I wouldn't say Andersen was "instrumental" in BFC staying up at the last minute.
As I said above the hoofball system with no crowds suited him perfectly.
Anderson is a starter for me in place of either Kitching or Sibbick.
Sibbick is decent with the ball and offers more pace than any of our other defenders but unfortunately he has lacked concentration at times this season which has cost a couple of goals.
Kitching is looking good but is still a work in progress.
Anderson is lacking technically as has been said. However, he's a good reliable defender who basically defends. I've no objection if he hoofs it into row Zed provided that we don't concede goals. Sometimes a man's got to know his limitations
I agree, I'd be happy if he hoofed it into row Z and it stopped us conceding, the trouble is he didn't always do that and tried the technical stuff. I've thought him a clumsy defender at times but, he has greatly improved and changed my view of him. I'd rather him than Sibbick starting if I'm honest.
