Match Thread vs. Weymouth 11.09.21 [NL]

It's match day again and we're off to hopefully terrorise The Terras. Team news around 2pm but can someone else post it please as I'll be in a meeting until half past?

    What's everyone's predicted starting 11 today?

That's a very good question. How attacking with IB go against a team who have scored 7 in their last two games? Will he select a slightly more conservative lineup/system due to this or will he welcome a potentially open game with lots of chances due to our impressive attacking options?

Either way I will be willing the boys onto victory and checking the score far too often poolside from my favourite spot in the Algarve.

Hopefully nowhere near me! After consulting the fixture list I've booked 19 days in the Algarve departing the day after we are at home to Woking, and returning the day before we are at home to Stockport. At worse I will miss a home game in the FA Trophy. The flights from EMA cost £9.99 each way, a total of £39.96 for return flights to Portugal for two!!! The weather at that time of year is mostly dry and sunny, with temperatures in the mid twenties. As a bonus, the apartments we have booked overlook the training ground of my Portuguese Primeira Liga team Portimonense, who play in black and white stripes and have made a decent start to the season.

Looks like the Alvinegros are away at Benfica the day after we play Woking and won't have a league fixture until after you return. Unlucky timing!

That's the big disappointment, it's been buggered by the international break. I've watched them play twice, and their stadium only holds 5,000. Unless they're playing Benfica, Porto or Sporting Lisbon it's fairly easy to get a 10 euro ticket.

Nice place is Portimao - we always stay at Carvoeiro but often visit Portimao for the sardine restaurants. Enjoy your hols Elite

Did you smuggle your drugs through customs or have you sourced a supplier out there already ?!
