Let’s wait to see Khaled defend this one…….. “ There was a “safety issue” with the grass I’ve only just been made aware of it……….. some sharp blades of grass were found ….. luckily we haven’t scored a goal lately ( training or in game time). or some players would have been injured doing the sliding celebrations.. I have a responsibility to ensure all green areas of the club are closed with immediate effect. All players will have a choice to be refunded their travelling costs to the stadium, or be located to Dubai for a week………”
We will keep their places in the team, should they decide to return after the window closes in January”……..
They shud bi mending oyls in West stand ! Then genna paint brush to smarten grarnd up ,
Players will be physically and mentally drained.
Oulare can lay still on a scaffolding board forra week to try and sooart his back art
I think the players have been found out. Schopp was way out of his depth but it's obvious the players have regressed to the standards of 19/20. They aren't good enough. The upturn under Struber was without fans and the decline under Val and continued under Schopp started with fans. They're just crap. The lot of em'.
I still think we have a strong squad.
As I’ve said before - there are players that are out on loan or can’t even get on the bench that would have started every match under Patrick.
The problem is not the players - the problems lie with the directors trying to influence decisions on the field.
Ok - I have to agree that last season it was sometimes difficult to watch - but we WON most games.
And even tho it was sometimes difficult to watch - in patches we played some excellent one touch football.
Better one touch Football than we have yet to witness this season (except probably QPR away).
So then - I would say this season has seen the reverse of what the directors wanted - the value of individual players has gone down - and not up.
The ‘transition’ that Doug OKane spoke about - changing from one style to another- is most likely going to see Barnsley relegated.
And IMO - if that happens - then the responsibility for that will be laid firmly at the door of the directors.
Not the players.
