England v Albania ( The Pub Match )

For f uck sake! Which pub did they drag these Albanian players from! No wonder Southgate stays in the job with absolute
    s hite opponents!

Rather watch Ken Barlow on the cobbles in Corrie than Harry with his 200K a week which is not sufficient for him to break a sweat at Spurs!

    Henderson is such a donkey!

There will be loads of complaints for putting this pub match on instead of Corrie which admittedly is more exciting

Err I wouldn't go that far Al, surely even watching the Warsaw Fc 'saddlers' is more exciting than Corrie street.

I admit though that it loses its value when we/England have to play these appalling teams, and it should be the same or even worse away to San Marinotown in the next game.

What really irks me is the fact that Harry Kane will overtake the great Jimmy Greaves as the highest England goal scorer. Half of his goals were scored against very weak national sides, whereas Jimmy scored the majority of his against tough opposition. Another point is the awarding of caps as substitute. Billy Wright and Peter Shilton are examples of players who got all of their hundred caps as first choice players. They should introduce a rule that you only receive a cap if you play a certain number of minutes. Fair enough if a player comes on for an injury early in the game but it's a farce that a player receives a cap for playing the final five minutes or so.

Yes first half we made them look like a pub side.

    However

    Goalie - Lazio (serieA)
Back 3 - Empoli, Roma, Salternina (all Serie A)
Middle 4 - Lazio (serie A), Espanyol (La Liga) plus one from Albanian side and one from Budesliga2
Forwards - Ferencvaros (Hungary), Kanyaspor (3rd in Turkey top league and Empoli (serie A)

Don’t underestimate these have improved massively over the last 10 years and yet we made them look like a pub side in the first half.

Come on Yarm', you've been around these parts long enough to know you should never let the boring tedium otherwise known as facts to get in the way of a dramatic sweeping generalisation. Tut tut, stand in front of the nearest mirror and have a stern word with yourself. Quite embarrassing frankly 😊 .

Spot on 68. Severely reprimanded and embarrassed.

One of the barmaids in our pub is a Walsall fan, she is a fanatic following them home and away.
That for me is a proper supporter, anyone can follow a so called big club.
