Given that England are going to Qatar...

i'm assuming that, given their appalling human rights record, treatment of minorities, etc, the Premier league clubs who are thinking of refusing to sell us players because of the Saudis record in those areas, are, equally, going to refuse to let their players play for England.

    No?

Didn't think so, the hypocritical bunch of wankers.

To be honest I think the Saudi’s are a line crossed. They murdered a journalist, other journalists view Khashoggi as one of their own, they’ll never give up.

The Saudi’s are indefensible, you got to own that sh1t.

I've not seen it put quite like that before, Phoney.

And I don't disagree but that's not my point-it's the selective choosing of which human rights abuses to protest against and which country to protest against.

As I said before the Saudi’s are a line crossed. The UAE and Qatar are not near as brutal as the Saudi’s.

who draws the line,a young girl gets shot in the head in Pakistan for going to school,a Russian dissident gets killed on the streets of England, gay men get crushed to death in Afghanistan but nothing is done about their sports teams.

Sorry mate but this is all about jealousy by Premier League teams not wanting a rich rival.

When did the world stop buying Saudi oil in protest,do all these Premier League chairmen still put petrol in their cars.

Using human rights to lash out at NUFC is a jealous excuse.

Aye, Sheffield United (who are Saudi owned) haven't / are not getting anywhere near the amount of flak as NUFC due to the huge disparity in financial resources of the two clubs. There are so many bitter and jealous people about...

I worked in Middle East for 24 years and your miles off the mark regarding UAE and Qatar mate, their just as bad.

Beckham is the forefigure of the World Cup yet the stadiums were all built with slave Labour. A standard contract out there for a worker from India or Pakistan is one year on, one month off. They work them 12 hour days for around £10 a day living in squalid contractors camps with 10 to a dormitory with shared toilets and showers.
