Yet Another Baby Beaten To Death!

By her mother’s lesbian lover whilst the mum was complicit! 😤😤

This sadist even took the little girl to her work as a security guard so she could film herself beating the child!

The mother dragging the child around town like “a rag doll” and berating her for not walking properly......she couldn’t though, she had a broken leg!!

    B A S T A R D S!!!! 😤😤😤

Multiple alerts raised by family and friends to social services etc and the usual ineptitude with no intervention.

Still......I guess the 21 video clips of her being beaten and the numerous photos of her bruised body aren’t enough to convince people about the death penalty.

Think there are two separate issues here. The first one is around the death penalty and the second around funding for social services. As for the first, I am with you in that for certain individuals who commit heinous crimes for which the evidence of their guilt is overwhelming and who cannot be rehabilitated then I cannot see why the system spends a fortune on locking them up just so we can say we are a "civilized" country. To what end? The death penalty will not be a deterrent for such people but the money saved could be spent better elsewhere and the victims families may get some closure.

The second issue is that of funding for social services and support for the vulnerable. In this particular case it is well known that the social services dept. was in trouble with high staff turnover and excessive workloads. I am not saying that there were not failings if not incompetence but the govt. urgently needs to address funding levels for social care and has to take some accountability for the results of not doing so over successive years.

I have to do safeguarding and child exploitation training every 2 years for work, they have over 600 new cases to deal with every week involving children. What a terrible indictment of the human race.

It is beyond any normal person's comprehension how these people can commit such heinous crimes. While I realise that social services are under pressure surely such a severe case as this, and others that have been in the news recently, should have been picked up by somebody. If warnings had been flagged up, which they obviously were, then action should have been taken. Surely somebody, somewhere along the line was at fault. Am I being too harsh?

This has been a really bad day for me, reading the news just makes everything seem so much worse. Perhaps it would be best not to look at the news at all.

I know what you mean Kets.

On a personal level I’ve had a bad few days and when I heard this news today I just wanted to sit their and cry.

I think of my own little grandchildren and wonder how anyone can think of inflicting the slightest bit of pain in a child.

I really would have no problem beating this woman to death with an iron bar for what she’s done.

Does that make me as bad as her?

If it was a child in my family she'd killed I can state without doubt that I would find a way of getting to her and torturing her before killing her.

I would stick her before a firing squad! I hope she gets poisoned inside and slashed for good measures!

That picture of her battered and bruised face on Channel 4 news is just horrible.

How can police and social services not have acted on this after 5 separate alerts to them?

Inept, lack of awareness and basic nous and common sense and dereliction in public office at the very least, it's time they started issuing charges against the idiots supposedly protecting children.

You've hit the nail on the head in what should actually be done. Take a step back and question where were the social services. Why have these children been failed by not just their parents but by the local authorities as well. Are the child protection agencies receiving the right support, staffing, funding, training. What needs to be done in future so this doesn't happen again...

Instead politicians will shout about longer sentences, but that doesn't address the source of the issue. Of course these people shouldn't see light of day again, but how does that help the next child in danger - I guarantee there will be dangerous parents who do incomprehensible things to their children in the future. We need a robust system that protects the child when that instance arises again. Not meaningless words from politicians that they think will win them popularity. I think a proper review/inquest into how we can implement preventative actions would be a start.
