    Happy Christmas!

My very best wishes to everyone on this board, including our friends from other clubs, for a Happy Christmas and a healthy New Year. Forget about the football for a few days, relax, enjoy the company of family and friends. Celebrate that we’re still here!

I’m no fan of Xmas, too many family issues.

People who can’t stand each other being forced into the same room and in in the name of one “special day” in the year.

I’m going away with the wife on the 27th, our tree will come down on Boxing Day and New Year will be bliss with just the pair of us as I absolutely detest New Year parties.

    Oh yes......Merry Xmas to all!

No danger of family get togethers for us this time round as those we were visiting are all self isolating and on reflection its probably no bad thing

My sister in law ( think 20 stone Mrs Doubtfire ) has been ill with a bad chest for a few days but not Covid.

Sadly, she’s recovered and will be attending our house tomorrow! 😢

Like every year my mate has got his sister in law and all her tribe for all of Xmas week and he is dreading it. So is his wife.

I just don't get it. I have never spent 1 day of Xmas with someone I didn't want to be with or somewhere I didn't want to be. Made it clear to my kids they must never feel obliged to visit us. Glad to say they often do.

    Merry Xmas everybody.
